The Position and Responsibilities

As a teacher, you play an important role in contributing to Botkyrka Municipality becoming Sweden's best school municipality, where students succeed in school and develop according to their unique abilities.

In your role, you will conduct teaching and related tasks such as preparation and follow-up of lessons, as well as assessment/grading. You will be part of a work team and participate in the team's collective work. You contribute to a good learning environment through active collaboration in working groups. Together, you focus on the students' knowledge development. You also collaborate with other staff at the school. You actively participate in the school's value-based work and work inclusively. You are keen to stay updated as a teacher and in your subjects through environmental monitoring, professional development, and collegial learning. Mentorship is a central part of your role through social contacts with students and classes, communication with guardians, absence management, and development discussions, as well as collaboration with authorities and social services. In your role, you will collaborate with the student health team. You are expected to be able to work with digital tools in your teaching.

Our school has a very stable teaching staff with long experience and high competence. We have a very high proportion of certified and engaged teachers who will work together with you to provide students with the right conditions to succeed in school.

The school needs to recruit for 5 parental substitutes for the next school year, both in the lower and middle grades, as well as in a special education group focusing on language.

Who You Are

Requirements: Teaching certification

Meritorious: Experience working as a teacher, ICT knowledge, experience with V-Class.
