We are looking for a positive, committed, and experienced licensed preschool teacher for our open preschool in Nacka Forum. Part-time position at 0.75%, (there may also be educational positions within the organization's culture school for singing, dance, and drama for a full-time position.) As a preschool teacher at our open preschool, you will guide adults with children in a stimulating and educational environment, where our visitors have the opportunity to meet, play, and develop together.

Company In Joy Of Moments AB

You will be employed by the company, “In Joy Of Moments AB”. The company is a subcontractor to the association Nacka KFUM, Activities For Young People, which runs various activities such as the Open Preschool; Vagga Gunga Gå and the Culture School; Dance & Musical. In your role with the open preschool, you will collaborate with BVC, libraries, potential social services, and network with other open preschools, special educators for reading aloud, speech therapists from student health, and other relevant actors who can support children and parents in the operation.

Overall recurring annual schedule:

The Open Preschool, Vagga Gunga Gå, is open 30 hours/week from Monday to Friday. It is closed between Christmas and New Year's Day, the Friday after Ascension Day, all other public holidays, and Midsummer.

The operation has summer closure after the 3rd week of June until the 3rd week of August.

The main vacation is scheduled during the summer half-year when all operations are closed.

Job description for the open preschool, Vagga Gunga Gå

The preschool teacher shall:

• Be responsible for driving the operation forward and achieving the goals set by the client, as well as conducting an annual evaluation of the operation. On how, what, when, and who.

1. What they will work on, 2. Have worked on. 3. What goals they have and methods.

• Follow the curriculum, inspire parents' awareness of children's development and learning, and provide children and parents with the support that may be requested by the family and also what is best for the family. That is, guide parents with children.
• Together with the operations manager, write a brief report for the organization's/association's annual meeting.
• Participate in the organization's planning days together with the work group and possibly the board. Have an overview of the year's important days, times, and local routines. Collaborate on financial measures based on the budget from the board/client and adjust according to the needs of the operation.
• Participate in updating, revising, and following up on the following documentation such as systematic fire protection work, crisis plan, action plan, equal treatment plan, discrimination plan, be familiar with the operation's overview plan, the Discrimination Act, and the National Agency for Education's curriculum.

The tasks mentioned here are not part of a preschool teacher's usual tasks within the open preschool

• The preschool teacher plans and evaluates their operation once a week.
• The preschool teacher shall write individual development plans for development discussions held once per term.
• The preschool teacher has a parent meeting once per term.
• The preschool teacher is responsible for children's development and learning. See above how!
• The preschool teacher documents the child's progression.
• The preschool teacher follows the curriculum and works with children in groups while ensuring that each individual child receives the development and support that suits their development and age.
• The preschool teacher and childcare worker inform the guardian how the day has been during drop-off and pick-up.
• The preschool teacher prepares and writes any investigations for children who need extra support.

Culture School

If you have pedagogical knowledge in music, drama, and dance, it is highly prioritized, as our operation within Activities For Young People is also responsible for a culture school. This way, you can extend your position to full-time. This means that you will be involved in planning and inspiring lessons to hold activities in children's dance or drama exercises for children. We value experiences and education that enable you to work creatively and pedagogically within the organization's areas, and give children and visitors the opportunity to develop their skills and forms of expression. In this way, you contribute to creating an educational and inspiring environment where children have the opportunity to develop their interests and adapt activities according to children's needs and conditions.

The preschool's premises are located in the shopping center, Nacka FORUM, in Nacka Municipality, close to bus communications. There is a direct bus; i.e., the motorway bus 471 from Slussen, among others.
