Job Description

As the People & Culture Leader, you will, together with business leaders, translate IKEA's People strategy into actionable plans that meet the business unit's needs today and tomorrow. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing people capabilities and processes across Inter IKEA, PD and within your unit. Acting as a strategic and tactical partner on all people-related topics, you will act as a role model for IKEA culture and values, enabling excellence in business performance and operations. You will be part of Category Area Wood Management team as well as the P&C functional team for Purchasing Development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Embed the IKEA People strategy into strategic business plans.
  • Lead organizational development, enhancing capabilities to navigate complexity and transformation.
  • Facilitate leadership and organisational development for a more front led organisation
  • Develop and implement IKEA People & Culture Capability processes in Purchasing Development and the Category Area.
  • Lead strategic workforce planning to ensure the right competence is in the right place at the right time.
  • Nurture a diverse and inclusive workplace at IKEA.

Qualifications

Are you the right fit? We are looking for someone with a strong passion for developing people and business simultaneously. You should be adept at translating business needs into concrete actions for performance and growth. Navigating a global multicultural environment and supporting remote leadership and communication is crucial.

To shine in this role, we see that you have:

  • A deep understanding of the IKEA landscape, vision, concept, and business idea.
  • Profound knowledge in IKEA's frameworks for People and competence development.
  • 4-5 years of experience leading a strategic People and Culture agenda in a global context.
  • Expertise in leading change and transformation.
  • Strong in digital literacy, with capabilities to navigate, lead and develop business and people processes through data analytics and digital tools.
  • Strong holistic and strategic thinking abilities, with excellent collaboration skills to build relationships across organizations.

Location: Älmhult, Sweden

Reporting to: People & Culture Manager Purchasing Development, Cecilia Lindholm
