Accounts Payable Assistant

About the Position

We are looking for an engaged and structured Accounts Payable Assistant for our client in Markaryd. A solid company that is looking for an accounts payable assistant who enjoys the role. To strengthen their team during the summer, starting as early as May! Do you have an eye for detail, love numbers, enjoy keeping things organized, and communicating both within the team and with suppliers? Then you might be the one we are looking for.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure that supplier invoices are correctly approved, entered into the system, posted, and paid on time.
• Manage and reconcile accounts payable to ensure accurate reporting.
• Handle invoice inquiries, resolve any discrepancies, and communicate with suppliers as needed.
• Follow up on unpaid invoices and ensure payments adhere to agreed terms.
• Release orders and maintain ongoing contact and collaboration with colleagues from other departments, suppliers, and customers.

Suitable Background

• 1–2 years of experience in finance or a similar role.
• Curious, meticulous, and communicative.
• Enjoys working both independently and collaboratively with others.
