ProfilGruppen is a Swedish listed company that develops and manufactures customized components and profiles in aluminum. The business is characterized by personal commitment, speed, responsiveness, and professionalism, and they work with constant development to take the company to the next level. Today, the group has approximately 540 employees, with its headquarters in Åseda, Småland, and a turnover of approximately 2.5 billion Swedish kronor.

ABOUT THE ROLE As a Business Controller, you hold a key position in ProfilGruppen's new organization. You are responsible for one of the company's two business areas and primarily focus on driving development by analyzing, improving, and changing within your area.

As a Business Controller, you will among other things:

  • Drive change initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency with a focus on production, sales, and purchasing.
  • Support the business with financial analysis, follow-up, and strategic recommendations to optimize profitability and efficiency.
  • Be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating financial forecasts and ensuring that the business follows established plans.
  • Compile and communicate key performance indicators to provide a clear picture of the area's financial health.
  • Act as project support to strengthen investment projects and be responsible for updating calculations to ensure they provide an accurate representation.
  • Contribute recommendations for decisions, both for your business area and for the CFO and CEO.

As a Business Controller, you work cross-functionally with sales, production, logistics, and purchasing, and have close collaboration with other controllers. You will be based at the headquarters in Åseda and report to the CFO. The role has a clear goal but is new, which means you will have great opportunities to put your own stamp on the role and working methods. For the right person, there are also good internal development opportunities.

YOUR PROFILE We are looking for someone with experience from leading business-oriented roles with result responsibility. You are used to working in extensive change projects, and your business-oriented profile, along with your courage and drive to carry out changes and improvements, are key to success in this new role.

From previous roles, you have developed a very good analytical ability and are accustomed to working with analysis and calculations in a production environment. A university degree in economics, engineering, or equivalent is required, and a background as a production controller is an advantage.

Language-wise, you have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
