We are now looking for a driven Accounting Assistant

Are you a driven person who wants to further develop within the field of accounting? In the role of accounting assistant, you will be part of an accounting team of 5 people and initially support primarily in working with accounts payable. You will work with the entire accounts payable flow, such as arrival registration, coding, follow-up, and reconciliations, as well as being a sounding board on issues related to accounts payable. Payments, year-end closing work, and contract management are also included, and you will assist in liquidity planning and be responsible for internal projects.

Processes and routines are well established within accounts payable, but there are always areas for development that you will be more than welcome to influence. Therefore, we see that you have a strong interest in systems, an ability to quickly navigate in systems, and a good understanding of economic principles and flows.

In an ongoing transformation and digitalization journey, the goal is eventually to work with a structured work rotation, which means you will have the opportunity to work in a broader role within accounts receivable and accounts payable.

We believe you have a post-secondary education in economics or equivalent. You have good knowledge of the Office suite (primarily Excel). Experience in accounting is a requirement, along with good knowledge of Swedish and English.

As a person, you are curious and motivated to drive your own work forward, where you also contribute new ideas and perspectives. Since the work involves a lot of external and internal contacts, it is important that you are service-oriented. You will report to the accounting manager.
