We are now looking for an experienced and driven Accounting Manager to Rottne Industri, a prominent privately-owned company located in Rottne, about 20 km from Växjö. The Challenge

As an Accounting Manager, you will have a varied and responsible role, where you lead and develop the accounting work at both the company and group level. Your tasks range from ongoing accounting to more strategic and developmental tasks such as improvement work. You will also be an important support for your colleagues in the ongoing work, while driving and implementing new projects, such as the company starting to use BI in Monitor for better business insights and follow-up.

Some of your daily tasks include:

• Payments, handling of inventory journals, journals, and product groups
• Completing and closing deals in the business system
• Responsible for monthly financial statements, including all necessary reconciliations
• Support and collaborate with the finance team in ongoing work while handling more complex issues
• Manage customs issues and assist when needed with external invoices, such as odd invoices and interest costs
• Contact with subsidiaries in Canada, including quarterly group financial statements
• Administer and close deals in the system, ensuring that all transactions are correctly recorded and completed

The role also includes:

• Being responsible for many parts of the business system Monitor G5
• Regular reconciliations and reporting to external auditors and banks
• Close and frequent contact between different departments, including sales, production, and external actors, such as auditors and suppliers
• Implementation and management of projects aimed at improving and automating accounting processes

Who are you?

To be considered for the role of Accounting Manager, we see that you have:

• Experience in financial work, and have worked with accounting
• A university degree in finance or equivalent vocational training
• Experience working in a manufacturing company is an advantage
• Experience with Monitor G5 is a merit
• Experience in group accounting is an advantage, but not a requirement
• Experience in customs is a merit

You are used to handling both operational and strategic tasks and have a good ability to collaborate and communicate with various internal and external stakeholders.
