Group Controller

As a Group Controller at Balco Group, you will work with group accounting and the parent company's accounting as well as the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, along with related reporting. You will be responsible for the ongoing follow-up of the group's subsidiaries, maintenance and development of the group reporting system (Aaro), budgeting and forecasting, liquidity planning, currency management, insurance issues, as well as finance-related investigations and analyses. Knowledge of VAT and tax management is also a merit. The role also includes being part of the department's ongoing improvement work and developing routines, processes, and working methods.

In your role, you are an expert in the field and are used to acting as a sounding board and providing support in dialogue with colleagues in the finance function of the subsidiaries. The position is located at our headquarters in Växjö, where the finance department consists of a total of eight people, two of whom work with the group. You will report directly to the CFO of Balco Group AB.

Regarding education, we prefer that you have a degree in business administration with a focus on accounting and knowledge of group accounting. The role requires solid theoretical and practical experience in financial administrative work. It is an advantage if you have worked for a few years in a group or at an auditing firm. Your Excel skills are very good, and you express yourself well in English, both verbally and in writing.
