Sörby School is our F-3 school (preschool class to grade 3) in Valdemarsvik with approximately 150 students.

RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for an engaged and competent primary school teacher who wants to help create the best conditions for students' learning and development. We are looking for you who want to contribute to a school where every student is given the opportunity to succeed.
- Plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching based on the goals of the curriculum.
- Work systematically with school development, including differentiated and inclusive teaching and clear, high expectations.
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Collaborate with colleagues, the student health team, and guardians to promote students' development.
As a primary school teacher at Sörby School, you work together with two other teachers in a year-level team. You are jointly responsible for the planning, distribution, teaching, and evaluation of the year level.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified teacher with a teaching degree and certification for teaching at the primary level. Great emphasis is placed on having good knowledge of initial reading and writing acquisition and early mathematical learning.
- Has an engaged and inclusive approach to students and teaching.
- Has experience and interest in school development and learning communities.
- Thrives in collaboration, contributes to collegial learning, and wants to work in a three-teacher model.
- Works systematically with follow-up and analysis to develop teaching.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-08-17 As soon as possible.
Particularly meritorious if you have both theoretical and practical experience working with children within the autism spectrum.
