About the role of Team Leader in Fire Alarms

Are you a technology-interested, organized, and communicative person who wants to develop your competence and leadership within Fire Alarms? Then you might be the one we are looking for. As a Team Leader in Fire Alarms, you will be part of a team consisting of designers, project managers, and installation and service technicians. Together, you will work with the installation and service of our customers' various fire alarm systems. You are responsible for customer contact, planning of service jobs, revisions, and project management of smaller installations/expansions. As an ambassador for Avarn Security, you perform every assignment with professional pride and high demands for quality and safety.

Workplace: Gothenburg

Working hours: Mon-Fri 07:30–16:30

Duration: Full-time, a 6-month probation period may apply.

Start date: As soon as possible, according to agreement.

The role requires that you:

  • Have worked for at least two years as a service technician or alternatively as an installer or commissioning technician within fire alarms
  • Are a team player who is careful, quality-conscious, and used to working towards set goals
  • Are service-oriented, solution-oriented, and customer-focused
  • Have the desire to actively participate in improvement work for continuous quality development
  • Hold a valid driver's license (Category B)
  • Hold Swedish citizenship.

It is an advantage if you also have knowledge of the systems:

  • Fire alarm systems such as Schneider FX/FDP, Securiton, Consilium, Notifier
  • Regulations SBF110
  • Contract law

The Recruitment Process

To be employed within Avarn Security AB, you must be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company, in accordance with the Act (1974:191) on Security Companies. The application to the County Administrative Board is handled by Avarn Security. Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements of the respective legislation, a background check is conducted. This assessment covers lawfulness, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, from open sources, or from authorities. When assessing suitability for a position, we always apply a holistic assessment.
