Do you want to develop within finance in a role where you can combine analysis, administration, and customer contact? At HSB, you have the opportunity to grow in a role adapted to your experience – whether you are new to the profession or have several years of experience. Together with competent colleagues, you will become an important part of delivering high quality and financial security to housing cooperatives. In this recruitment, you will be employed by Stegra Recruitment and hired as a consultant to HSB Southern Norrland with good opportunities for permanent placement.

About HSB Southern Norrland

HSB plans, finances, builds, and manages housing throughout Sweden – today totaling approximately 25,000 rental apartments and 340,000 condominiums.

HSB Southern Norrland operates in Gävleborg, Västernorrland, and Jämtland. Here, we serve approximately 430 housing cooperatives and other property owners with a comprehensive range of management services. HSB also has approximately 2,000 rental apartments in the area. At our disposal, we have nearly 230 dedicated employees who now need reinforcement from an accountant, based either from the Sundsvall or Östersund office.

The organization is characterized by core values of Commitment, Security, Sustainability, Care, and Collaboration, and decision-making paths are short, meaning you are given good opportunities to influence. You also have great freedom under responsibility in your work, and HSB always tries – as far as possible – to help you create balance in life between work and leisure. By contributing to the organization's success, your efforts will be valued. The opportunities are at HSB.

About the role

The role is adapted based on experience and involves the opportunity to gradually take on greater responsibility. As an accountant, the main task is to support customers with financial and administrative issues. For the more experienced role, this includes budget and annual report work, financial advisory, and overall customer responsibility where you are the primary contact for housing cooperative boards and chairpersons. For a more junior profile, there is an opportunity to start in an assisting role with support from experienced colleagues, where tasks mainly include ongoing bookkeeping, reconciliations, customer and supplier ledgers, invoicing, and loan management. Regardless of entry point, you will have an important role in developing within the finance area and gradually taking on greater responsibility as experience and competence grow.

Your profile

We are looking for both you who are at the beginning of your career and you who have several years of experience within finance. You have a post-secondary education in economics or equivalent work experience. As a senior profile, you are confident with ongoing bookkeeping and annual report work and enjoy customer contact. It is meritorious if you have previously worked with the housing industry or with financial analysis. As a junior accountant, we believe you are newly graduated in the field, perhaps having completed an extensive internship period or started working for a year with, for example, ongoing bookkeeping and reconciliations. As a person, you are structured, meticulous, and responsible with a good sense of service. You enjoy working both independently and with others, have good collaboration and communication skills, and can adapt your message to the recipient. You are comfortable planning and prioritizing your work, enjoy working with numbers, and have analytical skills. The role suits you who want to develop within finance and contribute with a professional and customer-oriented approach, whether you are at the beginning of your career or have several years of experience.
