Your responsibilities

We are looking for an HR Specialist in Occupational Health and Rehabilitation for the new HR unit of the Health and Care Administration.

In this role, you will have a central function in developing and strengthening occupational health and rehabilitation work, both within the Health and Care Administration and at the municipal level in Linköping Municipality. You are responsible for driving a strategic, promoting, and systematic occupational health work with a focus on both the needs of the operations and the employees.

You serve as the administration's specialist support in rehabilitation and work both strategically and operationally. Linköping Municipality is engaged in long-term work to reduce sickness absence, and you will play a key role in coordinating and driving the administration's initiatives in this area. You support HR consultants and managers throughout the entire rehabilitation process and, if necessary, participate in individual rehabilitation cases.

The work is characterized by close collaboration with operationally close HR consultants, managers, union representatives, safety representatives, and chief safety representatives. You also collaborate with other HR specialists in occupational health to develop and coordinate occupational health work in the municipality. An important part of the assignment is also to plan and conduct training within the occupational health and rehabilitation field, both for your own administration and for the municipality as a whole.

You report to the Deputy HR Director of the administration.

Your workplace

Currently, exciting development work is underway within the Health and Care Administration, and we are looking for you who want to contribute to the future of HR work. Here you have the opportunity to make a difference – for the operations, the employees, and the residents of Linköping Municipality.

The administration is developing its HR organization by consolidating all HR resources within the HR and Competence Supply unit. Today, the unit consists of an HR Specialist in Competence Supply, a language developer, and an HR Administrator. After the reorganization, the unit will consist of ten employees, including operationally close HR consultants and an HR Specialist in Occupational Health and Rehabilitation.

We are located in modern premises on Repslagaregatan in central Linköping. Working hours are during the day with flexible working hours.

The unit is growing in line with the needs of the operations. One of our most important questions moving forward is to attract, recruit, and retain competent employees in our shortage occupations, especially nursing assistants and nurses.

You who apply

We are looking for you who have an academic education in personnel and work science, Human Resources, behavioral science, or other education that the employer considers equivalent.

You have several years of experience in qualified HR work at both strategic and operational levels, with a particular focus on occupational health and rehabilitation. You are confident in interpreting and applying laws, agreements, and governing documents within the HR field and have good knowledge of regulations related to occupational health and rehabilitation.

You have experience of collaboration with trade unions and see good dialogue and cooperation as a natural part of your work. Experience from public sector operations is an advantage.

We also look for you to have good digital competence and experience with HR-related systems, such as Heroma, Qlik Sense, and Adato. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and adapt your communication easily to the target group and situation.

As a person, you are collaborative, receptive, and unpretentious. You enjoy driving development, see opportunities for improvement, and dare to think new thoughts. At the same time, you work in a structured manner and have a good ability to plan, prioritize, and follow up on your work. You are goal-oriented, flexible, and adapt easily when conditions change. With a holistic perspective, you contribute to solutions that benefit both the operations and its employees.
