Träkvistaterrassen Specialized Elderly Care is our newly built and modern facility located in central Träkvista, Ekerö. Träkvistaterrassen is a modern, newly constructed elderly care home where residents are offered care, support, and services characterized by professional and respectful treatment. Digital solutions are used as a natural support for both staff and residents, creating security and simplifying daily life. The facility is centrally located in Ekerö, in a safe and accessible area. The home has space for 70 residents, distributed across seven units.

Working with us means many opportunities but also great responsibility. You put the residents first, and every shift you work to create security, participation, and joy. As a care assistant, you work with care and nursing based on the individual's needs and wishes. Ekerö Municipality's values are the foundation of the work.
Together with your colleagues, you build good relationships with the residents and their relatives. You are to provide good nursing, care, and high-quality service. Social documentation and following up on individual implementation plans are seen as an important part of the work, as is continuously updating the documentation. Collaborating with all professional categories is seen as a matter of course.
Your duties include, among other things:
- providing nursing and support to residents
- performing medical tasks according to delegation
- documenting and following up on residents' health status
- participating in activities and creating a meaningful daily life
- collaborating with colleagues and relatives
- participating in and working with operational development within our teams.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- education as a care assistant (undersköterska)
- previous experience working in elderly care
- good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
You also need the ability and experience to work both independently and in a team.
It is an advantage if you have specialized education in cognitive diseases or care for the multi-sick elderly.

To work for Ekerö Municipality within elderly care, you must present an extract from the police record of criminal convictions along with valid photo ID before employment. You request the extract on the police website. The extract must not be older than six months from the date of issue.
