Central Student Health Care is Ekerö Municipality's central child and student health care. Our operations include school nurses and school doctors, school psychologists, special educators, and school counselors. We are also responsible for Ekerö's open preschools. Within the operation, there is also an administrative group consisting of the operations manager, deputy operations managers, school superintendent, and method developer. Central Student Health Care belongs to the Child and Education Administration. We actively value diversity and are a workplace with an open and inclusive approach.

The medical interventions of Student Health Care within Central Student Health Care consist of a group of school nurses and a school doctor. We are a positive and cheerful group that supports each other in daily work. We have a great team spirit, and as a new school nurse, you will get a mentor who helps you get into the work. We have regular supervision together, and meet every other week at our school nurse meetings. As a school nurse in Ekerö Municipality, you are centrally employed and may be placed at one or several schools depending on the number of students.

We are now looking for you who would like to become part of our lovely team. We work primarily health-promoting and preventive, and strive to ensure that all students reach the goals of education. The school nurse's assignment includes, among other things, following the students' development, having health talks, administering vaccinations according to the vaccination program, offering students simpler healthcare interventions through open reception, and participating in the school doctor's clinic. The school nurse has close cooperation with the school's student health team, educators, guardians, and other professions at Central Student Health Care.

Qualifications

To succeed in the assignment, you must:

• Be a licensed nurse, with specialist education in health and medical care for children and adolescents, or open health and medical care.
• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.

We would also like you to meet the following qualifications:

• Experience of working within student health care, Child Health Center (BHV), or pediatric care.
