We are growing – do you want to join us?
We are looking for you who want to strengthen our dietitian work within primary care rehabilitation. At Spånga Rehab, we are now expanding our staff and seeking a licensed dietitian for our core assignment.
You are a person who:
- Sees how small changes in eating habits can make a big difference in everyday life
- Enjoys combining clinic work with teamwork
- Has a genuine interest in patient meetings, regardless of background and life situation
- Knows that good communication – sometimes via an interpreter – is crucial for good treatment
- Wants to contribute to developing our operations together with colleagues
Profile
You are a licensed dietitian. Experience from primary care, rehabilitation, or work with chronic diseases is an advantage, but most importantly, you are curious, engaged, and want to develop together with us.
You have a good ability to translate knowledge into practical advice that works in the patient's reality, and you thrive working both independently and in close collaboration with other professions.
The Workplace
Spånga Rehab is part of Rehab Västra, which includes four clinics in West Stockholm: Bromma, Kista, Spånga, and Ekerö. Our assignment is primary care rehabilitation within Vårdvalet, which entails:
- Clinic work
- Home visits
- Fitting of assistive devices
- Team-based home rehabilitation
Dietitians, physiotherapists, chiropractors, and receptionists work in the operation. At the Spånga clinic, a neuroteam with speech therapists, counselors, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists is also active – but this position refers to our core assignment, not the neuroteam.
We offer
- Flexible working hours
- Varied working days with both clinic work and teamwork
- An engaged work team with competent and positive colleagues
- Opportunity to influence and develop the dietitian activities
- Subsidized SL travel card.
We actively work for a good working environment and a developing learning environment. A healthy lifestyle and a good balance between work and private life are a matter of course for us.
Job Responsibilities
As a dietitian with us, you will primarily work within our core assignment with:
- Assessment and treatment of patients in need of diet-related counseling and support
- Individual visits at the clinic, sometimes also home visits if needed
- Diet treatment for conditions such as overweight, malnutrition, gastrointestinal problems, metabolic diseases, and other conditions where diet plays a major role
- Group-based interventions, patient education, and collaboration with other professions
- Documentation, planning, and follow-up in accordance with current guidelines
You are part of a team with, among others, physiotherapists and other rehabilitation professions, and you collaborate closely with other healthcare providers regarding the patient.
Employment Type
Permanent position. Full-time 100%, part-time can be discussed. Probation period may apply.
Personal Qualities
We place great importance on personal suitability. We are looking for you who:
- Enjoy working in a team and find it easy to collaborate across professional boundaries
- Are responsible and combine independent work with good teamwork skills
- Are flexible, have good communication skills, and are confident in patient meetings
- Are receptive, stress-resistant, and service-oriented
- Have a positive attitude towards development and renewal of work
Other Information:
When working in the patient's home, you must be able to cope with environments with pets/fur animals and not be sensitive to smoke odor.
Selection takes place continuously during the advertising period, and interviews may begin before the last application day has passed, which is why we would appreciate it if you submitted your application today.
Welcome with your application!
The position is filled on the condition that it does not need to be taken for internal reassignment, according to current regulations.
