We are now looking for a Specialist in Psychiatry to join Psychiatri Nordväst, based at Sollentuna Psychiatric Clinic.
Sollentuna Psychiatric Clinic serves all individuals over the age of 18, registered in the Stockholm Region, who require psychiatric care at a specialist level. We are a pleasant workplace with high competence, aiming to offer high-quality treatment to our patients and create a work environment that feels comfortable and inspiring for our employees. At the clinic, we are divided into two base teams and a neuropsychiatric assessment team. We offer treatment to patients with affective disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and neuropsychiatric disabilities. We place great emphasis on assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment, offering a wide range of therapeutic options. Our teams consist of nurses, psychologists, social workers, rehabilitation coordinators, and specialists in psychiatry. The teams meet in short team meetings daily to collaborate on patient care and treatment pathways. There are established working methods and routines, while also providing good opportunities to influence how we work at the clinic. We are now looking for you who want to be part of our team in the role of Attending Physician.

Job Responsibilities
As a Specialist in Psychiatry, you are responsible for the psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of our patients. Additionally, supervising junior doctors and residents (ST-läkare) is part of the role. On-call duties are primarily included in the facility's intermediate on-call line. Furthermore, you are expected to share profession-specific knowledge within the team with other staff categories.
Qualifications
Specialist in Psychiatry with clinical experience in general psychiatric outpatient care. Documented experience in medical/clinical development work is meritorious.

Conditions
The position is a permanent employment where a probationary period may apply. Permanent employment, full-time 40 hours per week, working Monday–Friday.

The position will be filled subject to it not being required for internal relocation, according to current regulations.
For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Council (SLSO):
- A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, conducted through occupational health services before employment.
- In addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirement is guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
