We run five senior housing facilities with vibrant social community, our own home care service, and four nursing homes where secure care is the focus. The association was founded in 1921 by Alma Hedin. Under her leadership, a special spirit emerged – the "Blomsterfonden spirit" – which still characterizes our operations today. Blomsterfonden also actively works to support relatives. We organize and participate in various forums to spread knowledge about the needs and living situations of the elderly.

About the position

We are looking for a temporary occupational therapist for Tallgården!

Are you a licensed occupational therapist and curious about working in elderly care? You now have the opportunity to try working as a temporary occupational therapist at Tallgården's care and nursing home.

As an occupational therapist, you support our residents in maintaining their independence in daily life. You are responsible for good and safe care and treatment through ADL assessments and the prescription of assistive devices. You foster good relationships with residents, relatives, and other professionals. A key part of your role is to supervise care staff. The work involves both acute and planned HSL (Health and Social Care) interventions. The role also includes leading activities such as individual gym training, hand therapy, and walking groups.

You report to the Operations Manager and are part of the HSL team together with physiotherapists and nurses. In the rehab team, you work closely together with the physiotherapist.

Tallgården's nursing home is located in Enebyberg, Danderyd Municipality, with easy access to public transport, including bus connections to Mörby Centrum, Täby Centrum, and Vallentuna.

Qualifications

Are you a licensed occupational therapist?

Other qualifications: You are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. We place great emphasis on personal qualities such as the ability to collaborate and a warm, respectful attitude. As a person, you are positive and see opportunities before obstacles. You contribute to a good work environment and can work both independently and as part of a team.

Employment terms

Other: Salary according to agreement. Blomsterfonden applies individual salary setting. The workplace is covered by a collective agreement. The work is during daytime hours, Monday – Friday.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.

Duration: 6 months or longer.

Start date: 2026-10-01 or according to agreement.

End date: 2027-10-01.
