About Us

Närhälsan Torslanda Health Centre is a well-functioning workplace with competent staff and satisfied patients. We work with everything from preventive health work to acute care. Today, we have approximately 54 employees from various professional groups working at the health centre, and we have around 17,440 registered patients of all ages – all equally important to us. Currently, four district nurses work with us, but we wish to strengthen the team with one additional district nurse for clinic visits, home visits, as well as handling phone calls, 1177, and chat.

The health centre offers doctor's clinic, blood sampling, district nurse clinic, Child Health Centre (BVC), as well as clinics for diabetes, asthma/COPD, hypertension, elderly care, and dementia care. We have a rehabilitation coordinator and a care planning nurse, as well as a psychosocial team consisting of a psychologist, social worker, and care coordinator. We collaborate closely with the municipality and are responsible for doctors within municipal housing and patients receiving home healthcare.

We actively work to develop operations through continuous improvements where everyone is involved. Therefore, we hold frequent APT (Annual Work Planning and Review) meetings and professional meetings where we jointly work on and follow up on ongoing work and projects.

About the Job

Your duties at the health centre cover a broad field and include the area of general medicine where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work in a health-promoting, advisory, and treatment capacity in primary care, both via phone, chat, 1177, digital healthcare meetings, and at the clinic.

The work takes place through both acute and planned activities. You work largely independently with your own clinic and perform home visits a few days a week. Close collaboration occurs with your colleagues at the unit and in a cross-professional team. Together with the health centre management, all employees are encouraged to develop and drive operations forward. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, so supervising students is also included as part of your role at the health centre.

About You

You are a registered nurse with specialist education as a district nurse. It is an advantage if you have experience working at a health centre and/or experience working in regional or municipal primary care, but we also welcome newly graduated candidates.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making independent decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can prioritize your tasks effectively.

In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you have a good attitude towards people, are accommodating, empathetic, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you thrive in teamwork and that collaborating with colleagues and other contacts is second nature to you. You can express yourself well both verbally and in writing, and are an engaged and good listener during both digital meetings and clinic visits. We would appreciate it if you have an interest in digitalization and operational development.

About the Recruitment Process

Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite relevant candidates to a telephone interview. Subsequently, the hiring manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them to an interview at the health centre.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so that we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
