About Us

Närhälsan Alingsås Emergency Clinic is an evening and weekend emergency clinic located in the same premises as Närhälsan Sörhaga Health Centre. Each shift is staffed by a team of six employees, including doctors, nurses, assistant nurses, and medical secretaries. Good collaboration in a good working environment is important to us. We welcome research work and thereby contribute to driving healthcare development forward. We offer competence supply as well as development opportunities within the position of Treatment Nurse.

The premises are centrally located in Alingsås, approximately a 10-minute walk from the train station. Our opening hours are Monday–Friday from 17:00 to 22:00, and on public holidays from 10:00 to 16:00. We also offer digital accessibility in the form of telephone advice, Monday–Friday from 14:30 to 16:30, and on public holidays from 08:30 to 09:30. The mission of the emergency clinic is to provide good care during off-hours.

About the Job

At the emergency clinic, incoming patients in our drop-in clinic are prioritized. Your tasks span a broad field and cover general medicine, where you meet patients of all ages and situations. We work with triage and patient flows and have well-developed routines and guidelines to support you in this. You work in a health-promoting, advisory, and treatment capacity in primary care, both via digital healthcare meetings and at the clinic.

The work involves acute visits. You work independently with your own clinic where you triage, treat, and follow up with patients. Close collaboration with your colleagues takes place within the unit and cross-professionally in the team, but also together with other units such as the emergency room, ambulance, and health centre. For us, it is important to have an open atmosphere, to value each other's competencies, and to work without hierarchy. Together with the health centre management, we are responsible for developing and driving the operations forward.

About You

You are a licensed nurse. It is an advantage if you have experience from working in primary care and/or emergency care, but we also welcome newly graduated candidates.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and is confident in making independent decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can prioritize your tasks effectively.

In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, sensitive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you thrive in teamwork and that it is natural for you to collaborate with colleagues and other professions. You can express yourself well both verbally and in writing, and are an engaged and good listener during both digital meetings and visits at the clinic. We encourage you to have an interest in digitalization and operational development.

Other Information

The position is a part-time employment with a workload of 50–75 %.

Interviews at the emergency clinic are conducted continuously during the application period.

About the Recruitment Process

Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who invite relevant candidates to a telephone interview. Thereafter, the hiring manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them to an interview at the health centre.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so that we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
