About the job

We are looking for you who want a stimulating and developing job. You will have a varied job involving many contact areas. Job Responsibilities

You contribute to good care and support for users in their homes. You will work with individualized care. This may include, among other things, social and physical activities. In your work, you assist the user with health and medical interventions as well as rehabilitative interventions based on prescriptions from licensed personnel.

Having a fixed care contact is part of your work, meaning you have a special responsibility for one or more individuals. Your work also includes ongoing documentation and responsibility for implementation plans.

Who are you

We are looking for you who take responsibility for your tasks with the user's best interest in focus and are keen on completing started work. You have the ability to take initiative, create trusting relationships, and can work both independently and in collaboration with others.

Requirements:

• Proof of protected professional title for assistant nurse (undersköterska) from the National Board of Health and Welfare, or alternatively a certificate from a previous employer confirming that you had a permanent position as an assistant nurse on July 1, 2023.
• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good reading comprehension.
• Basic digital competence.
• Ability to cycle.

Merits:

• Healthcare and social care college diploma.
• Experience in similar work and/or education within dementia care.
• Experience with documentation.
• Driver's license.

Other

• You will work scheduled hours such as days, evenings, and weekends. The position is a permanent full-time (100%) position.
• Your primary workplace will be the Hamngatan unit, but you are employed in the entire Social Welfare Sector of Lidköping Municipality, which means work may occasionally take place at other units.
• Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
• Selection takes place continuously during the recruitment period.

Criminal Record Extract

Before being offered employment, you as a candidate are required to present an extract from the criminal record register for work in any of the following areas: school or preschool, work with children in activities other than school and childcare, work with children under the LSS Act, work at or in connection with residential homes for youth (HVB), work with the elderly or persons with disabilities. You order the extract via the Police's website. The extract must be presented before employment can begin.
