The Employment Unit is responsible for coordinating the municipality's employment measures and is organized under the Child and Education Committee at Tanum Municipality. Through guidance, motivation, and activation initiatives, in collaboration with authorities and the business community, we work to ensure that every individual has the prerequisites for self-sufficiency. The Employment Unit has recently moved into newly renovated premises.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist and are motivated by seeing people develop! Are you empathetic, proactive, and good at finding individualized solutions? Then this might be the job for you.

The focus of the position is on work-oriented rehabilitation for both the target groups within the activity requirement and for participants coming through the Väst Coordination Consortium.

A part of the role is focused on supporting individuals towards employment through guiding, motivating, and investigative interventions. In this part, you will have contact with the participant's network, such as healthcare, social services, and internship placements. You also need to be comfortable leading group activities.

Another part of the role is focused on working in a team-based manner with other professions as an occupational therapist to coordinate, conduct, and document work capacity assessments. The position also includes contributing to local knowledge development regarding work capacity assessments and the subsequent feedback/guidance work.

We work according to the experiences from BIP research.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist and have competence and experience working with the occupational therapy instruments MOHOST, DOA, WRI, AWC, and AWP. You have good knowledge of the labor market and are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. As a person, you need to be structured and driven in your own work, and in relation to those you collaborate with, you need to be empathetic and team-oriented.

Experience and knowledge of case management and MI (Motivational Interviewing) are meritorious.

A B-class driver's license is required.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

What We Offer

Permanent employment starting 2026-09-21 or according to agreement.
