The Elderly Care in Umeå Municipality aims to be a resource that frees and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life through proximity and interaction.

Skräddarens Care and Support Housing is centrally located on Teg, approximately 1.5 km from Umeå city center, with proximity to the Ume River and beautiful green areas. The housing facility has 47 apartments distributed over three floors, with each floor consisting of two smaller units.

We are now looking for two new colleagues who want to help us strengthen our team on weekends!

Your responsibilities

You will primarily work on weekends, assisting residents with personal care. Additionally, you will perform medical tasks under the delegation of the responsible nurse. Your duties also include documenting measures and health status. You will work based on the assignment, where the elderly person's participation is in focus. This ensures that interventions are carried out with good quality according to the assistance decision and implementation plan.

About you

Meeting with residents requires high personal competence, where maturity, empathy, and good judgment are crucial for creating security and trust. You show strong commitment to both users and the organization through a respectful and professional attitude in all situations. You enjoy working independently and are patient and proactive in your approach. At the same time, you have a good ability to collaborate and interact with colleagues, relatives, and other professions. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Requirements

• Experience working in care and support housing.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, to communicate with residents, relatives, and colleagues, write and read care documentation, and obtain medical delegation.

Merits

• Education as an assistant nurse, care aide, or other healthcare education.

Other information

Two positions as fixed-term appointments, part-time approx. 22 %, starting 2026-08-01 or as agreed, ending 2027-01-31. The working hours are scheduled for weekends.
