The elderly care in Umeå Municipality aims to be a resource that frees up and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life through proximity and interaction.

Teg Care and Housing Facility is beautifully located by the Ume River, approx. 2 km from Umeå city center, with easy access to nice green areas. The facility consists of 102 apartments distributed across 10 units and features a café, a common room for activities and entertainment, as well as a light room.

We are expanding and are now looking for several assistant nurses to join our team!

Your responsibilities

With a professional approach and good customer service, you assist our residents in their daily lives. The resident's right to influence is in focus, and you contribute to ensuring that measures are carried out with high quality, according to the assistance decision and implementation plan.

You will assist with bathing, laundry, cleaning, meals, and other services. The duties also include documentation of actions and health status, as well as medical tasks based on delegation from the responsible nurse.

Scheduled working hours: day/evening and weekends.

About you

In your interactions with the residents, you are required to be empathetic, driven, and solution-focused, as well as possessing personal maturity. You demonstrate great commitment to both the individual and the organization in all relationships and actions. You thrive working independently and have a good ability to collaborate and cooperate with colleagues, relatives, and other professions. We place great emphasis on your personal suitability.

Requirements:

• Trained assistant nurse
• Experience in care work
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, to communicate with users, relatives, and colleagues, write and read care documentation, and receive medical delegation

Meritorious:

• Experience working in elderly care

Heavy lifting occurs, so transfer aids must be used. Smoking and pets may be present, so you should not be allergic.
