FABO is now looking for a Strategic Buyer who wants to help develop future procurement work in a housing company with an important social mission.

About the Role

The role of Strategic Buyer is new within FABO, meaning you will have a central role in developing and structuring our procurement and tendering work. You will establish new working methods, create structure, and drive development in close collaboration with the operations. You will lead and support tenders, work with contract follow-up, and serve as the business's specialist in procurement and tendering.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct tenders for framework agreements, construction contracts, and consulting services.
• Prepare tender documents and specifications in collaboration with the operations.
• Monitor contract compliance, supplier performance, and purchasing patterns.
• Support managers and employees in matters concerning procurement, contracts, and the Public Procurement Act (LOU).
• Educate and guide the organization on procurement and tendering issues.
• Contribute to the development of FABO's procurement processes and e-commerce. Monitor legislation, market trends, and industry developments.

We are looking for someone with

• Post-secondary education in procurement, tendering, economics, law, or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in independent strategic procurement, tendering, and contract management.
• Good knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU).
• Experience in contract law and commercial terms.
• Good ability to analyze purchasing data and identify business opportunities.
• Experience in training or coaching operations in procurement.
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).

It is an advantage if you have experience with

• The non-profit housing sector or the real estate industry.
• E-commerce solutions.
• Sustainability requirements in tenders.

You will become part of our team

The position belongs to the Finance Department, where you will become part of an engaged team consisting of Finance Manager Linda Nilsson and three other colleagues. The team is close-knit, highly competent, and strongly committed to the business. They help each other, share knowledge, and enjoy working together while working towards common goals to create long-term value for FABO and our tenants.

The Finance Department plays a central role in supporting and developing the business through analysis, control, business acumen, and efficient processes. Together, the team contributes to creating good conditions for the business to achieve its goals and continue to develop.

Your workplace will be at our office on Möllegatan 2 in Falkenberg.

Recruitment Process

The advertisement is published during the holiday period, which means the selection process will begin in week 33. Any questions regarding the position will therefore be answered from week 33 onwards.

First interviews will be conducted during weeks 34–35 together with the HR Partner and the Finance Manager. A second interview is tentatively planned for September 3–4.

Other

The position is a permanent employment with a six-month probation period.

We would like you to start as soon as possible, taking into account any notice period.
