Purchasing Assistant – Import & Logistics

Hisab/Joker AB is looking for a purchasing assistant with a focus on international flows

Do you want to work in a role where purchasing, logistics, and international deliveries meet?

We are now looking for a structured and engaged Purchasing Assistant who wants to help ensure efficient flows from supplier to warehouse.

Here, you will have a central role in our operational purchasing and delivery chain, working closely with both global suppliers and internal functions.

About the role

As a Purchasing Assistant, you will work broadly with purchasing, logistics, and delivery follow-up. You are responsible for ensuring our goods are delivered on time, with the right quality, and correct documentation.

A central part of the role is also import clearance, where you ensure that import and customs processes are handled correctly, efficiently, and in accordance with current regulations.

You will be part of a purchasing team where you jointly drive and develop the entire flow from article idea to final delivery.

The role includes:

• Operational purchasing and order placement
• Supplier contacts and follow-up
• Delivery monitoring and coordination
• Logistics, freight forwarding, import clearance, and customs handling
• Product information, artwork, and packaging
• Ensuring product documentation complies with current regulations

You will become a key link between purchasing, warehouse, sales, and finance – contributing to smooth operations throughout the entire chain.

Your main areas of responsibility

Operational Purchasing & Supplier Contacts

• Manage the purchasing process from order to delivery
• Follow up on suppliers and delivery precision
• Build long-term collaborations

Logistics, Import & Customs

• Coordinate transports together with freight forwarders
• Work actively with import flows and import clearance
• Be responsible for and coordinate the import clearance of incoming deliveries
• Ensure correct customs classification, customs values, and customs-related documentation
• Ensure documentation is correct and complete

Delivery Monitoring & Problem Solving

• Follow production status and deliveries
• Handle deviations and delays
• Ensure clear internal communication

Product Information & Artwork

• Coordinate artwork and packaging
• Ensure correct labeling, barcodes, and legal requirements

Product Safety & Documentation

• Handle certificates, test reports, and technical documentation
• Ensure products meet current regulations

Article Data & Systems

• Work in business systems with article and product data
• Ensure high data quality

We are looking for you who

• Have experience in purchasing, supply chain, or a similar role
• Have a good understanding of import, freight forwarding, import clearance, and customs handling
• Have experience working with customs-related documentation and import processes
• Are accustomed to working with international suppliers
• Have good administrative skills and work in a structured manner
• Are solution-oriented and thrive in a role with many contact surfaces
• Have good system proficiency
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English

Meritorious

• Experience with the business system Pyramid
• Experience in classifying goods according to the customs tariff (HS codes)
• Experience importing from the Far East, especially China
• Good knowledge of Excel
