About Us:

Habiliteringscenter Sollentuna Barn is a specialist outpatient clinic within the Rehabilitation & Health area of Region Stockholm. We offer interventions for children aged 0–17 with permanent disabilities, such as autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, or mobility impairment. Our operations are conducted in accordance with the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disability Groups (LSS), serving as a complement to general healthcare.

Work is carried out in our interdisciplinary teams, which, in addition to seven psychologists, include social workers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, special education teachers, and physiotherapists/physiotherapists. Our catchment area covers northwest Stockholm County, including the municipalities of Järfälla, Solna, Sollentuna, Upplands-Väsby, Sigtuna, and Upplands-Bro. Our clinic is located in beautiful, modern premises in central Sollentuna, just a 15-minute commuter train ride from Stockholm Central Station.

About the Role:

We are currently seeking two psychologists to join our competent and friendly autism team. The target group consists of children and young people aged 5–17 with autism, as well as their families. The role involves stimulating and varied tasks, including individual contacts with children and young people, knowledge transfer regarding disabilities to the child's network, and therapeutic interventions in groups or individually. These interventions may focus on diagnostic knowledge, stress management, social skills, and challenging behaviors. Work is conducted in close collaboration with other professions within the team based on need. The position also involves extensive cooperation with municipalities and neighboring care providers surrounding the patients.

About You:

We are looking for a licensed psychologist. Ideally, you have experience working with children with autism or other neuropsychiatric diagnoses. Basic therapy training in CBT or other knowledge of applied behavioral therapy is meritorious. You have strong organizational skills to structure your patient work and can balance the demand for efficiency with qualitative goals. You are capable of working independently as well as collaborating effectively within the interdisciplinary team. We expect you to work based on scientifically proven methods and clinical experience. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Employment Type:

Permanent position, full-time, with a start date of September 3, 2026, or as agreed.

The position is subject to the condition that it does not need to be filled by internal transfer, according to current regulations.

For patient-facing roles within the Stockholm County Council (SLSO):

• A register check is conducted prior to the employment decision, according to SLSO's overarching guidelines.
• Employees with patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination through occupational health services before starting employment.
• In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of Swedish is required, corresponding to level C1 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The same requirements apply to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
