Description
The Mobile Emergency Unit is available daily between 08:00 and 22:00. We offer patients scheduled visits, emergency home visits, and telephone counseling. The clinic provides rapid and qualified care for patients over 18 years of age who require emergency psychiatric help. We also have the capacity to provide time-limited support interventions, for example, during a temporary crisis reaction, immediately after discharge from inpatient care, or until contact has been established with outpatient psychiatric care.
Our team includes a group that conducts psychological and retrospective reviews.
We are located at the S:t Göran Hospital area on Kungsholmen and belong to the North Stockholm Psychiatry clinic.
Responsibilities
As a nurse, you will be part of the leadership team and responsible for leading the work in our counseling service. You will supervise the teams out on assignments and manage medication distribution to patients. You prepare and dispense medication, as well as assess and process referrals received by the Mobile Emergency Unit.
You should therefore have a good understanding of how psychiatry is organized, as well as strong skills in assessing care levels and urgency.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with an interest and experience working within adult psychiatry.
The role requires strong verbal and written communication skills. You must have good knowledge of the region's organization and how psychiatry is structured, particularly regarding treatment interventions and care levels. It is important that you can make independent decisions and have the ability to justify and formulate them in writing.
Personal suitability is highly valued as the role involves extensive communication with both patients and colleagues. Desirable personal traits include being solution-oriented, friendly, and helpful.
Good computer skills are required. Documentation is done in the journal system "Take Care".
A specialist education in psychiatry is meritorious.
Conditions
Full-time, permanent position, starting immediately or as agreed. The work primarily involves evening and weekend shifts according to a schedule.

The position will be filled provided it does not need to be reserved for internal relocation, in accordance with current regulations.
For patient-facing roles within the Stockholm County Healthcare Services (SLSO):
- A register check is applied before employment decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines.
- Employees with patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination through occupational healthcare before starting.
- In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirement applies to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
