We are looking for an Occupational Therapist for a permanent position in our home rehabilitation team on Östermalm.

Rehab City is a results-based unit within SLSO (Stockholm County Council). We consist of approximately 85 employees across three clinics and provide primary care rehabilitation services.

Our clinic on Östermalm has 24 staff members, eight of whom are occupational therapists.

Your work will be characterized by a patient-centered approach, joy in working, and the belief that all people are equally valuable.

Responsibilities:

As an occupational therapist in primary care home rehabilitation, you will meet patients of all ages and from diverse cultural backgrounds. Patients will have various diagnoses and functional limitations. You will work both within the rehab team and through independent home visits.

You will conduct activity assessments, prescribe assistive devices, and provide training in patients' homes and local environments. We travel to our visits on foot or by bicycle.

When working in patients' homes, you must be comfortable being around pets and tolerant of smoke odors.

Employment type:

Permanent position, with a possible probationary period. Full-time or part-time according to agreement, with flexible working hours. Start date by agreement.

Qualifications:

• Licensed occupational therapist with a Bachelor's degree (180 ECTS). A Master's degree is an advantage.
• Experience working in primary care is an advantage.
• Swedish language skills equivalent to at least level C1 according to CEFR.

• A background check is conducted before employment decisions, in accordance with SLSO guidelines.
• Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health assessment via the occupational health service before starting.
• Good knowledge of Swedish at level C1 (CEFR) is required, in addition to professional licensure. The same requirement applies to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
