Johannes GP Clinic is a region-run, medium-sized clinic on Norrmalm with approximately 10,500 satisfied patients. Around 30 employees work here, including seven general practitioners, one dedicated to home care. Our seven district nurses efficiently run the general clinic as well as special clinics for diabetes, asthma/COPD, elderly care, and hypertension. We are also proud to have a small integrated child health centre and a laboratory on the premises. We have active cooperation with rehabilitation services and have our own rehabilitation coordinator.

Job Responsibilities:

A typical day as a GP includes scheduled phone times triaged by our skilled nurses. Scheduled emergency slots and planned appointments are available. The work involves a significant amount of digital meetings via video calls and chat, as our population appreciates this contact method. At the clinic, you participate in the education and supervision of students and trainee doctors. We all actively contribute to our internal training, and we regularly attend external training. You work in a team with a district nurse and often a trainee doctor, collaborating on the patients on your list. As a GP here, you perform all common tasks at a GP clinic, including integrated child health services (BVC) and home care when needed.

Qualifications:

You are a licensed specialist in general medicine, preferably with a few years of experience in primary care and familiarity with the medical record systems TakeCare and Alltid Öppet.

Personal Qualities:

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and are looking for someone who is accustomed to working independently, has excellent collaboration skills with other professional groups, and uses a flexible working approach. You work with an ethical and medical attitude and feel responsible for your patients and the operations.

Employment Type:

Permanent, full-time. Start date according to agreement.

For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Council (SLSO):

• A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
• Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new-employee health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required, in addition to Swedish professional licensure. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
