Psykosvård Stockholm is a newly established unit within the Stockholm County Council (SLSO). We offer assessment, investigation, and treatment according to national guidelines and regional care programs. Within Psykosvård Stockholm, we conduct development work, education, and research regarding psychotic disorders. We work in multidisciplinary teams to provide the best possible care and treatment around the patient.

We are now looking for a nurse to join one of our psychosis departments, Department 3, Psykosvård Stockholm.

Description

Do you have a genuine commitment and interest in patients with psychotic disorders? Do you have good collaboration skills and want to drive development work within psychiatry together with an engaged manager and MLA? Come and work with us! We are passionate about person-centered patient care where evidence and staff competence are in focus.

We are centrally located at the S:t Göran hospital area. The department has 14 care beds for patients aged 18 and above, with one bed reserved for voluntary admission. The patient's participation, good cooperation with relatives and care peers, high accessibility, and a well-functioning care chain are several central pillars upon which the operation rests.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse with us at Department 3, you will have a central role as a team leader with primary responsibility for psychiatric nursing. We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in participating in the ongoing Safewards project, a method to reduce threats and violence and strengthen patient participation in care. You will work in a team with other nurses, assistant nurses, doctors, social workers, and occupational therapists.

The department receives patients around the clock, and you will have standard nursing duties such as admission, offering conversations, medication management, and sample collection. We use TakeCare as our medical record system.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, preferably with experience in psychiatric inpatient care. Specialist education in psychiatry is meritorious. You are a positive person who enjoys collaborating with different professional categories. You thrive in a varied work environment and can also work independently. You are interested in transcultural aspects and wish to develop professionally.

Conditions

Permanent position day/evening/weekend. Rotating 5-week schedule, with 2 weekends out of 5.

We offer among other things a wellness allowance (5,000 SEK/year), a wellness hour, free healthcare in outpatient care, and ongoing competence development.

We warmly welcome your application!

The position will be filled provided it does not need to be taken for internal reassignment, according to current regulations.
