One of our employees is moving on to a new assignment within the unit, and therefore we are now looking for an Assistance Case Worker with a focus on Transport Allowance (Färdtjänst). With us, you will have an important and meaningful job where you contribute to people receiving the support they need in their daily lives.

The position is located at the Unit for Administration and Finance within the Division for Disability, Social Psychiatry, and Elderly Care.

The unit is led by a Unit Manager and consists of administrative assistants, assistance case workers, finance case workers, business controllers for finance, and business controllers for follow-up of Social Services Act (SoL) and Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS).

The unit's main task is to provide support in administrative and financial processes to the authority-executing operations within the division. Some administrative support is also provided to other parts of the division. The work includes, among other things, administrative support, invoice management, fee management, financial follow-ups, operational follow-ups, contract follow-ups, as well as processing of transport allowance, national transport allowance, municipal housing supplement for persons with disabilities, sick leave compensation within personal assistance, and security alarms for residents under 65 years who do not have other interventions.

Your role

As an Assistance Case Worker, you are part of the unit's transport allowance group, which currently consists of three case workers. The group has broad competence, and all employees are social workers.

Your main tasks are to process cases regarding transport allowance, national transport allowance, municipal housing supplement for persons with disabilities (KBF), and security alarms.

The work includes investigation, needs assessment, and decision-making according to delegation, or preparation of cases for decision in another instance. The assignment also includes contributing to operational development and performing certain administrative tasks within the area of responsibility.

The content of the assignment is based on the operation's needs and may therefore change and develop over time.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for you who have:

• A degree in Social Work (Social Work).
• Good computer skills.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you have experience of:

• Authority execution as an assistance case worker or social secretary.
• Processing of transport allowance, national transport allowance, municipal housing supplement for persons with disabilities (KBF), or security alarms.
