Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a Music Teacher for grades 2–6 as well as for Special Needs Education (Adapted Primary School). You will be part of a team of certified and experienced teachers who together plan and are responsible for the students' learning and development. We are looking for someone who is confident in their role and naturally puts the student's needs and prerequisites at the center. You build and maintain strong and trusting relationships with the students and create an open, positive, and professional dialogue between home and school. You work based on the curriculum and current regulatory documents when planning, implementing, documenting, and following up on teaching and student results, both independently and in collaboration and dialogue with your colleagues. Your duties also include planning and organizing school graduations and other performances, as well as occasionally collaborating with external cultural actors.

Qualifications

You, as the applicant, have a teaching license with subject competency in music for grades 2–6. If you have prior experience working as a teacher, we consider this an asset. You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's regulatory documents and can use them effectively in your daily work. Furthermore, you have good didactic and pedagogical skills and can therefore lead and organize your work to create study peace and a good learning environment for our students throughout their school day.

Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work, and with good familiarity and practice, you work efficiently with relevant digital tools. Naturally, you have a professional attitude and work towards good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.

To fit as a primary school teacher with us, it is important that you are engaged and flexible with good cooperation skills and have a positive attitude. You have the ability to create good relationships and have a clear and professional approach in dialogue with students, guardians, and colleagues. You want to participate actively in the school's development work. You want to develop your teaching and work systematically with planning, implementing, and assessing students' knowledge. You are clear and confident in your leadership and adapt the teaching based on the students' prerequisites and prior knowledge.
