We are now looking for a residential support worker for our team on Sven Adolf Norling Street. We offer training and a developing job where you make a difference! We are looking for you who are trained and have experience of LSS (support and service for persons with certain disabilities).
About Sven Adolf Norling
Six adults, including individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities aged 21–58, live with us. The residence is located in a residential area in central Skara with good bus connections.
About the role
In the role of residential support worker, you base your work on the residents' individual needs and wishes, providing support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other employees, you work towards the goal of making the day meaningful and rich in content. You support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, social contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your duties also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are during the day, evenings, weekends, and on-call sleeping shifts.
Your experience and knowledge
You have a high school education in care and nursing or other equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience of documentation. Experience of working with the target group is an advantage.
You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, and always have the best interests of our users as your starting point in everything you do.

Start date: Employment takes place on an ongoing basis. Start day: 1/10.
