What does the role involve?

As an IT Clerk with us, you are a very valuable resource for everyone, almost 600 employees, at our office. You are responsible for local technical support, such as computers with accessories, printers, copying, mobile telephony, and more. Coaching and supporting users in the IT area is also part of your daily routine. You will also order service cards, computers, and accessories, as well as handle invoices.

A close colleague of yours will be the agency's IT Coordinator, with whom you will have daily dialogue and collaboration.

Other tasks may include assessing needs to shape our future IT environment so that it is as user-friendly as possible.

We work in a Windows environment.

Are you the one we are looking for?

In this role, we want you to have:

• A high school education.
• Post-secondary education in IT deemed relevant by the employer, or at least two years of experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Good knowledge of common applications in Microsoft's environment.
• Professional experience in methodical troubleshooting and repair of computers and peripheral equipment.
• Good knowledge of networks.
• Good knowledge and understanding of IT security and information security.

As a person, you are service-oriented and have a great interest in IT technology. Since you will work with support and colleagues who need your expertise, you have very good communicative and pedagogical skills. You are also solution-oriented, proactive, and like to take initiative.

As an employee at the County Administrative Board, you need to:

• Have the ability to make decisions from a holistic perspective, taking several viewpoints into account.
• Understand that a central role for the County Administrative Board is to make trade-offs between different interests.
• Have the ability to prioritize and adapt to work with new tasks or in new contexts.

Great importance will be attached to your personal qualities.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience in working with IT workplace user support.
• Experience in IT within the public sector.

About us and the role

The position is a one-year fixed-term appointment, with the possibility of extension.

We want you to start as soon as possible or as agreed.

You will be part of the Unit for Sustainability, Procurement, and Service, which has approximately 23 employees, and you will be part of the unit's service team.

You must be a Swedish citizen because the tasks within the employment are placed in a security classification. We will conduct a security check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
