Your Assignment

As an analyst, you will belong to a unit within the Signals Intelligence Department. The department works with the collection, processing, and analysis of raw material, delivering intelligence reports and other services to the agency's clients.

In the role of analyst, your main responsibilities will be to manage given areas of responsibility by analyzing at both operational and strategic levels, primarily in the form of:

  • Understanding and translating collected information, partly in Russian and English
  • Processing and analyzing various types of data and material
  • Monitoring developments and events within the production area
  • Writing reports and presentations, as well as adapting production to customer needs
  • You will work both in groups and individually. On-call duties and working at inconvenient times may occur. Travel, both domestic and international, is also part of the position.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in analyzing complex materials and formulating results in written form
  • Good computer skills
  • Good reading and listening comprehension in Russian
  • Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

We consider it meritorious if you have:

  • Knowledge of or interest in military affairs
  • Knowledge of or interest in military sea-going and/or flying platforms
  • Experience in signals intelligence or intelligence work
  • Experience from work within the Swedish Armed Forces or related agencies
  • Experience from studies or work in areas where Russian is spoken
  • Interest in security, foreign, and defense policy
  • Good knowledge of Russian, both spoken and written

More Information

The workplace is located near Drottningholm, approximately 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. Before employment, you will undergo a security check in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment entails an obligation to be war-placed. We apply a six-month probation period. In this recruitment process, work tests/assessments will be applied.
