Do you want to work with technical solutions used throughout the public sector? Digg is responsible for the public sector's access to infrastructure and services for electronic identification and signatures.
Sweden Connect is Sweden's national infrastructure for e-identification, enabling e-services and e-IDs to work together seamlessly.
The infrastructure is now facing a technological shift to the next generation of federation models based on OpenID Connect and OpenID Federation.
We are looking for you who want to work close to the technical core of this development. You will contribute to how federation, trust, and standards are implemented in practice in an environment with many dependencies and actors.
You will also step into an exciting phase. On January 1, 2027, Digg and PTS will merge to become the Swedish Agency for Digital Government (Digitaliseringsmyndigheten), where we will continue to work together for a secure digital Sweden for everyone.
About the job
We are now looking for a technical specialist for the National Digital Identity Unit. The unit works with digital identity, e-identification, e-signatures, and authorization, and is responsible for parts of Sweden's digital infrastructure.
As a technical specialist, you work close to the technical core of Sweden Connect. You contribute to implementing standards and architecture in a federated environment with many dependencies. The role involves analyzing, specifying, and driving technical issues together with development teams and operations providers, as well as handling issues related to operations, incidents, and further development of the infrastructure.
You do not need to know everything from the start, but you have sufficient technical depth to independently familiarize yourself with new standards, architectures, and solutions and evaluate how they should be applied in practice.
Examples of tasks:
- Analyze, specify, and drive technical issues related to Sweden Connect together with development teams and operations providers
- Handle issues related to operations, incidents, and further development of the infrastructure
- Follow and evaluate relevant standards within digital identity and information security
- Translate standards and architecture into working solutions in a federated environment
- Collaborate with authorities, municipalities, suppliers, and international cooperation partners
About you
To succeed and thrive in this role, you need to have the following competencies, knowledge, and experience:
Experience and knowledge - requirements
- At least three years of experience working with complex technical systems, for example within digital identity, information security, or other security-critical environments.
- Documented experience of working in or close to a technical development team, in collaboration with both technical and business-oriented roles.
- Experience in preparing materials and conducting technical arguments in dialogue with decision-makers or other central stakeholders.
- Good understanding of technical systems and architecture, as well as the ability to analyze relationships between components and actors and translate technical issues into clear requirements, materials, and decisions.
- Experience in leading or facilitating technical dialogues, meetings, or workshops.
Experience and knowledge - meritorious
- Experience and knowledge of relevant standards within digital identity, such as SAML, OpenID Connect, or eIDAS.
- Experience working with digital identity, for example e-identification, federation, or access control solutions.
- Experience working in the public sector or in collaboration with many actors.
- Experience with agile working methods.

Education
You have an academic education in IT or other experience that the employer considers equivalent.
