About the role

As an IT Operations Technician at Förvaltaren, you play a central role in ensuring stable and secure operation of the IT platform. You work with installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and further development of the technical environment, with special responsibility for the operation of certain business-critical OnPrem systems related to property management. In this role, you act as a technical expert and contact person during major changes, projects, and incidents. You also have a coordinating function, where you lead and support technical colleagues in their daily work and in joint initiatives.

You work with advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving in both client and server environments, as well as providing support in 2nd and 3rd line support. In this role, you develop solutions to technical challenges, drive your own projects, and contribute to developing routines, guidelines, and documentation. You set requirements and follow up on deliveries from external suppliers, ensuring they meet both technical and business needs. The role also involves staying updated within the technology field, identifying new opportunities and security risks, and proposing improvements to Förvaltaren's IT environment.

Examples of tasks

• Administer and optimize Förvaltaren’s server platform, both cloud services and on-premise.
• Upgrade and service Förvaltaren’s operational environment.
• Perform and manage new installations in Förvaltaren’s operational environment.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving at the client and server level.
• Ensure high IT security and compliance with regulations such as GDPR and NIS2.
• Work with risk analyses and define technical requirements for new systems and procurements, as well as ensure technical protective measures for personal data.

We are looking for you

We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest and several years of experience in IT operations and infrastructure. You are accustomed to working both operationally and strategically, take responsibility for your deliveries, and thrive in a role where you can combine problem-solving with development work.

We see that you have:

• At least five years of experience in a similar role within IT operations or infrastructure.
• Good competence within Microsoft’s ecosystem, such as Azure, M365, AD, and Teams.
• Experience working in hybrid IT environments.
• Practical experience in installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Windows client and server environments.
• Experience in IT security work and regulatory compliance within areas such as GDPR and NIS2.
• Knowledge of networks, firewalls, and communication protocols such as TCP/IP and DNS.
• Knowledge of PowerShell.
• Experience with patch management in Windows environments, such as Intune or Heimdal.
• Experience with virtualized environments based on VMware vSphere.
• Experience working with SQL.

Knowledge of BizTalk, printers, Unifi, and Fortigate is considered an advantage. Further education or certifications within Microsoft’s product portfolio, ITIL, PMP, or agile methodologies are also considered advantageous.
