Åhus Health Centre offers our approximately 7,500 registered patients comprehensive care throughout all stages of life. Our services include Child Health Services (CHS), a diabetes clinic, an asthma/COPD clinic, a geriatric clinic, and a memory clinic. We also have nurse-led clinics, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, counselors, and dietitians, and we offer advice and support to a nursing home and the municipal home care service.

Here, an engaged and cross-professional team works together, consisting of specialists in general practice, resident doctors (ST), newly graduated doctors (AT), and training doctors, district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, and several other professions. We value collaboration and leverage each other's competencies to provide patients with safe, accessible, and person-centered care.

Åhus Health Centre has a long tradition as a training unit and is characterized by a good work climate, high competence, and a strong spirit of development. During the coming period, Vä Health Centre will become a branch of Åhus Health Centre, creating even better conditions for collaboration and continued development of the operations.

Job Description

Here, you are offered a varied and developing job where you meet patients of different ages and with varying care needs. The tasks include, among other things, your own clinic, telephone advice, triage, and assessment of patients. Depending on your competence and experience, there is also the opportunity to work within one of our specialist clinics.

You will become part of an engaged and cross-professional team where we work together to provide patients with safe, accessible, and person-centered care. Collaboration with other professions, the municipal home care service, and other healthcare providers is a natural part of the assignment.

We continuously work to develop our operations and therefore expect you to want to be involved in improvement work and contribute with your knowledge and experience. Here, there are good opportunities to develop and deepen your competence based on both the needs of the operations and your own interests.

Qualifications

We welcome you who are a registered nurse or district nurse with eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is a requirement. We consider it an advantage if you have experience working in primary care.

As a person, you thrive with variety in your work and you put your patients in focus, as well as having the ability to quickly adapt when the situation requires it. This is because the workload can vary greatly. Furthermore, it is very important that you can work independently while valuing good collaboration with your colleagues at the health centre.
