We are now looking for an Occupational Therapist for Vårdcentralen Förslöv. You are warmly welcome to join us!

Förslöv is located on the scenic Bjärehalvön peninsula in northwestern Scania. The Förslöv Health Centre has grown over the last few years, and we now have approximately 6,280 registered patients and 24 dedicated employees working in teams consisting of doctors, nurses, assistant nurses, social workers, physiotherapists, dietitians, and medical secretaries. Our premises have also been expanded, and the operations have been conducted in completely newly renovated facilities since autumn 2022.

Within our area, units collaborate to utilize competencies, strengthen continuity, and create a secure and sustainable work environment.
You will work closely with your occupational therapy colleagues at Vårdcentralen Delfinen in Höganäs and at Vårdcentralen Laxen in Ängelholm.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As an occupational therapist with us, you will have varied tasks including clinic visits and home visits where you meet patients of all ages.
You will become an important part of our interdisciplinary team and work closely with several different professional categories to jointly create secure and accessible care for our patients.
As an occupational therapist, you are the first point of contact for diagnosing and treating injuries to the hand, forearm, and elbow. Your responsibilities also include participating in cognitive assessments and prescribing and fitting assistive devices. The role of Rehabilitation Coordinator will also be included in the position.
QUALIFICATIONS
To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you have a genuine interest in primary care and enjoy a role where you can combine independent work with close collaboration with other professions. As a person, you are responsible, flexible, and confident in your professional role. You have a good manner of dealing with people and always work with the patient's needs in focus. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
Regarding the formal requirements for the position, we welcome you if you are a licensed occupational therapist with the eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is also a requirement. We would like you to have worked a few years in the profession and have experience within primary care.
