About Vårdcentralen Södervärn

Vårdcentralen Södervärn is a well-staffed health center located at Skåne University Hospital (SUS) in Malmö, in fresh premises right across from the emergency department. From here, it is close to both train and bus connections as well as parking facilities. We are within walking distance of Möllevångstorget, which hosts a daily market and offers a wide variety of lunch restaurants.

Vårdcentralen Södervärn has approximately 10,000 registered patients of all ages, all of whom are offered a named general practitioner. Our goal is to ensure continuity, high medical quality, and good accessibility for our patients. The health center also includes the Child Health Center 'Familjens hus'. The center has specialist clinics for diabetes, smoking cessation, incontinence, and memory issues.

We are constantly working to develop our operations based on our patients' needs by offering high accessibility and good care quality. Regular staff meetings and professional gatherings are a given for us, so that we can jointly develop common goals where everyone's contribution is equally important.

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking forward to welcoming a new psychologist to our team!

At the primary care level, we work with patients with mild to moderate mental health issues. You are responsible for your own clinic and patient contacts while collaborating closely with other professions at the health center.

The work consists of assessment, counseling, therapy, and rehabilitation of patients. You assess the patient's mental health from a holistic perspective and treat their mental and social health conditions using evidence-based treatment methods such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and Internet-based CBT. Treatment can be provided on an individual or group level. You also serve as a knowledge resource for the patient in their contact with the municipality and other collaborating actors.

We view competence development as a natural part of the work, both for your personal development and for the health center's collective competence. Furthermore, we expect you to be involved in improvement work and operational development.

Qualifications and Merits

Requirements:

  • Licensed psychologist with eligibility to practice in Swedish healthcare.
  • Swedish language skills at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale.

Merits:

  • More than two years of professional experience and thus eligibility to practice CBT and Internet-based CBT.
  • Experience in independent treatment work or work within primary care.
  • Experience with the systems PMO, SOM, Mina Planer, Pascal, and/or Melior.

We are looking for someone who appreciates variety in work and taking independent responsibility for your tasks. You strive to ensure that all our patients receive professional care. Since cross-professional collaboration is a given for us, we also look for someone who is easy to collaborate with and flexible. Additionally, you have good communication skills and want to actively contribute to a good work climate. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Employment Conditions

Salary Range: 43,500–55,000 SEK

Employment Type: Permanent position

Start Date: According to agreement

Interviews: Planned for August 25 and September 3.
