You will have the opportunity to participate in specialized emergency care together with competent doctors and nursing staff. We place great emphasis on further development both internally and through universities and higher education institutions. At AVA, we currently have 26 care beds and 2 intermediate care beds (IMA). The care consists of handling patients with an expected short length of stay. We treat patients with varying medical and surgical nursing needs, ranging from young people to multi-morbid elderly who have fallen ill acutely. AVA is a great department to develop in, for both newly graduated and experienced nurses, and is a popular department among students.

Job Description

In your future role as a nurse at AVA, you will work in a team close to doctors, assistant nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, with the patient in focus. We work with short care periods and rapid changes in the care process, all based on what is best for the patient. We place great value on the team spirit on the department.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement.

As a person, you are welcoming, driven, and work with care and respect for both patients and colleagues. On our emergency care department, it is important that you can work both independently and in a team. We value that you have a strong desire to learn and develop. About the Workplace

Helsingborg Hospital is a diverse workplace with pulse. Here we provide emergency care and specialist care around the clock. Most medical specialties are represented, and there is both intensive care, maternity, and neonatal care. We also have operations at the hospitals in Ängelholm and Landskrona.
