Role

Your role involves teaching on the Care and Nursing program within adult education. You will continuously assess students' performance based on current regulatory documents and validate existing knowledge among adult students. Other courses may be included in the position depending on your qualifications. The role also includes developing workplace-based learning (APL) in collaboration with workplaces, conducting practice visits, and developing and supporting workplaces and supervisors. Language development and Swedish as a second language are also important parts of the students' education.

The work is carried out both individually and in teams. We have high expectations of students and employees. We want students to exceed themselves. Students at Nils Fredriksson Upper Secondary School and Adult Education are accustomed to participation and formative assessment. In your role, learning platforms and digital tools are a natural part of teaching.

Competencies

We are looking for a teacher in care and nursing subjects with high subject competence or experience in similar roles. Certification is an advantage.

To succeed in the role, you work both independently and take an active role in the team. You have good collaboration skills and are initiative-taking, development-oriented, and solution-focused. You have good communication skills in speech and writing.

Working hours/Duration

Fixed-term employment 100 %, summer service. August 10 – December 31.
