Tumbo Husvagnar AB is a family-owned company with just over 70 employees. We are located in Tumbo, 1.5 miles from Eskilstuna and 3.5 miles from Västerås. Our customers can find one of the country's largest selections of new and used motorhomes and caravans, as well as a well-stocked shop and a modern service workshop. We deliver approximately 1,000 vehicles per year to customers throughout Sweden, with a turnover of approx. 700 MSEK.

We are now expanding our finance department and are therefore looking for an accountant with payroll expertise. The position is a permanent full-time role with a start date to be agreed upon.

Job Description

Are you meticulous, analytical, and comfortable working with numbers? Do you have documented experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and payroll management? Then you might be the person we are looking for.

As an accountant at Tumbo, you will play a central role in the finance department and, together with your colleagues, be responsible for bookkeeping, monthly closing, payroll administration, reporting, analysis, and vehicle administration.

We operate in a seasonal industry, so we are looking for someone who is flexible, responsible, and thrives when the pace is occasionally fast-paced.

A valid driver’s license (Category B) and access to a personal car are required.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing bookkeeping and reconciliations
• Monthly closing
• Payroll administration
• Reporting to management and authorities
• Customer and supplier accounts
• VAT and tax declarations
• Other tasks within the finance department

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant education in economics or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of experience as an accountant
• Experience with monthly closing and payroll management
• Good knowledge of accounting systems and Excel (we use Fortnox and Visma Lön)
• Experience in financial reporting and VAT
• Good command of Swedish and English
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
