The Welfare Sector consists of four operations: disability services, home care and health care at home, individual and family care, and care and nursing homes.

The Home Care and Health Care at Home services in Ulricehamn Municipality are responsible for interventions according to the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Services Act.

Health care at home has developed significantly in recent years and now offers both planned and acute health care interventions in the patient's home. We provide advanced care to patients of all ages with varying diagnoses and needs, ranging from rehabilitation efforts to end-of-life care.

We are now recruiting staff for our home care service based in central Ulricehamn, Central Home Care.

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant or care aide at Central Home Care, you work together with colleagues and other professionals within elderly care to provide high-quality care and support. Your task is to perform nursing care based on approved interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL).

The work is varied and includes, among other things, providing personal care, performing delegated health care tasks, documentation, and assisting our care recipients in their homes. You always have the individual's best interests in focus and work to create a safe, active, and meaningful everyday life for those we serve.

If you are a nursing assistant, you work with a fixed care contact, which means you have extended responsibility for a number of care recipients. As a fixed care contact, you become a key person in creating continuity and security, contributing to ensuring that every individual receives the support they need.

Qualifications

• It is meritorious if you are trained as a nursing assistant, but this is not a requirement for the position.
• It is meritorious if you have previous experience from healthcare or similar work.
• You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
• You feel confident working with digital tools.
• You are service-oriented, receptive, and have good empathetic skills.
• You contribute to a positive work environment through your engaged attitude.
• You are flexible, responsible, and solution-focused.
• You combine the ability to work independently with being a team player.

Personal suitability will be given great weight, and a valid driver's license (Category B) is a requirement for the position.

Employment Terms

• Type of employment: Permanent position.
• Duration: Start date 2026-09-01 or as agreed.
• Working hours: Day/evening and weekends.
