The Workplace

The elderly care services in Karlsborg Municipality are headquartered at Haganäset nursing home, where all operations are centralized to one location. We are currently seeking a night float position based at Utsikten, but who will staff all units within healthcare and social services, including home care services, as needed.

Job Responsibilities

The role involves patrolling and assisting with tasks in other units during the night shift, starting from your initial placement. Providing services within home care may become necessary if the need arises.

You will work with a person-centered approach to care and a rehabilitative mindset. Your mission is to support all aspects of daily life regarding care, service, and support based on the user's needs. You must be able to provide a sense of security, offer good nursing care, and perform health and medical tasks after delegation.

The job includes receiving written and oral information and documenting in the business system Viva.

Qualifications

You have formal qualifications as an assistant nurse with delegation for medication and insulin. Experience from previous work in healthcare and social services is advantageous, and a Category B driver's license is required. You are goal-oriented and able to work towards jointly established goals, have good collaboration skills, and are receptive. You have a strong ability to work independently and take initiative. After introduction, you must be able to work in our business system and other IT systems used by the organization.
