Jakobi Sustainability AB offers high-quality consulting services within natural environment and environmental matters to privately owned companies and public clients. Our assignments range from nature inventories, permitting processes and consultations to support in construction and implementation phases. We also produce decision support materials for biodiversity. We work closely with our clients in projects where environmental issues are decisive – legally, ecologically, and practically.
We are a growing company that has been well-established in the industry for many years. The number of employees varies slightly over the seasons; currently, we have around 18 employees. Our headquarters are located in Gothenburg, and we are represented in Uppsala, Kalmar, Jönköping, Luleå, and Malå.
About Us
We are a values-driven organization. Our vision is high biodiversity, resilient ecosystems, and a fossil-free society. We believe in finding your passion, driving development, sharing knowledge, being solution-oriented, and creating a strong community. We want to work in an environment where we support and inspire each other.
We are in a growth phase and building the business together. In addition to our existing areas of operation, we are launching a new area within contaminated land this year.
We operate in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, industry, and municipal planning.
Project Manager EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment)
We are looking for you who have a few years of experience as a writer and editor for Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA). We also see that you have worked as a project manager for at least 3 years. More years are meritorious as there is a high demand for experienced project managers.
Perhaps you have worked with road and railway projects or power line projects and want to continue developing within this area as well as in adjacent areas. Currently, we have many assignments within road and railway, power line projects, as well as municipal planning. Other types of projects may also occur, depending on your competence and the assignments that come in.
It is meritorious if you also have experience from the industry.
Your main tasks:
- Lead the work with permit applications and environmental impact descriptions according to the Environmental Code
- Investigations of environmental effects and consequences of development projects in the planning phase and propose protective measures
- As a project manager, maintain close dialogue with the client and be responsible for both the economy and customer satisfaction in the projects
- Other tasks depending on competence and which investigation assignments come in
- Writing tenders and selling Jakobi's services
Your profile
As a person, you are flexible and communicative with good collaboration skills. You are structured and careful with an ability to prioritize. Working at a smaller company in a dynamic environment with varying tasks and many contact surfaces is something you thrive in and are motivated by. You are good at writing reports in Swedish.
You take initiative and can see what needs to be done to improve and support the business.
We believe you have an education as a biologist, environmental scientist, or civil engineer in environmental science, and have studied at least one course in environmental impact analysis/environmental impact description. We tailor the position to the individual's experience and competence.
