The role of student employee with us

The Building and Environment Administration is a pleasant workplace with good camaraderie and a mix of ages. Your nearest manager will become your mentor, and you will have the opportunity to try out different supervision areas to learn how to apply theoretical knowledge in our practical work. We offer you relevant and qualified work experience, a mentor, valuable contacts, and an hourly wage. The working hours correspond to approximately 8–15 hours per week.

• receive a personalized introduction and an assigned mentor
• have access to engaged colleagues with expert knowledge in various supervision areas

Your profile

As a person, you are curious, meticulous, and analytical. You enjoy communicating and collaborating with different stakeholders. You have an interest in environmental and health protection issues, with a focus on supervision according to the Environmental Code. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Our offer and other information

We offer employment according to the terms of the agreement for student employees, starting as agreed in connection with the start of the term. The working hours are limited to a maximum of 15 hours on average per week during the term time. How the time is scheduled is done in agreement with your nearest manager. We are keen that you can combine working with us with your studies.

We have offices centrally in Kungsbacka, a two-minute walk from the train station, and new premises with activity-based spaces. You will become part of a forward-looking operation where we jointly work for a healthy and wholesome environment. In Kungsbacka, we work with Developing Employee Relations, Developing Leadership, and our workplace culture as a common approach that effectively guides us in the decisions and actions of daily work – for the benefit of residents, businesses, and visitors.
