Pilkrog Preschool is located 15 km east of Lindesberg, with the forest as its closest neighbor. The preschool is operated by the Pilkrog Independent School Economic Association, whose board is the main authority for both the preschool and the school. We are politically and religiously unaffiliated and prioritize safety and security for the children. We achieve this, among other things, by budgeting for a high number of adults in the operations. We are an association that does not engage in any form of profit-making activity.

The preschool is currently located under one roof, which facilitates cooperation between the different child groups. The dining hall and kitchen are also located in the same building, where our chefs prepare highly appreciated meals from scratch. In the kitchen, we focus on locally produced ingredients as much as possible, as well as maintaining close contact with the children.

The preschool consists of three child groups. One group for older children aged 4–5 years, and two groups for younger children aged 1–3 years. We have one preschool teacher and one childcare assistant (barnskötare) for each group. There are currently 35 children enrolled at the entire preschool. As a childcare assistant, you will work together with your colleagues, taking responsibility for one of the groups, while also collaborating across the entire preschool.

The preschool's closest neighbor is the forest and nature, making it possible to spend a lot of time outdoors with the children. The school premises also include a small gymnasium that the preschool has access to. Directly outside the preschool is the playground, featuring swings, climbing frames, several small playhouses, and a sandbox, among other things.

As an employee, you will have the opportunity to join a staff group that supports each other and works towards a shared vision regarding the children. Together; staff, principal, board, and parents, we collaborate to run an operation that is in everyone's best interest, with the children at the center.

We are now looking for you who are a qualified childcare assistant for a position of approximately 60%, starting in August 2026. We are looking for you who are a qualified childcare assistant and have experience working with younger age groups. You have an approach where the child's perspective is present, and you have knowledge of child development. You enjoy working together with other adults. And you are driven, with easy access to your own imagination and creativity.
