About the position

We are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for a 45-year-old man living in Hallsberg. The man leads an active life with interests in music, film, and computers. He has a positive, open personality and enjoys an active and varied life. The assistance includes personal hygiene, support during meals, cooking, laundry, cleaning, and accompanying the man in his daily life. The man regularly attends day activities, and you, as his assistant, will accompany him. The personal chemistry and interaction between you as the assistant and the man are crucial for the quality and experience of the work.

Who are you as an applicant?

We are looking for someone who is social, sensitive, and flexible, and who takes appropriate initiatives. You enjoy being outdoors and want to contribute to giving the man an even more active life. You should be able to work independently but also collaborate effectively within a group. We are looking for someone with personal suitability for the task. To us, this means you are responsible, patient, empathetic, and sensitive. It is important that you are punctual and can adhere to schedules, but also flexible enough to step in and cover gaps in staffing when needed. We value that you are a confident person who enjoys taking initiatives, both independently and in collaboration with others in the group. Good physical fitness, a cheerful demeanor, and a positive attitude are also desirable.

Experience with sign language or sign communication is an advantage. You will join a transferred team of assistants who have several years of experience working as assistants for this man. Good physical fitness is desirable.

Regular workplace meetings are held to develop the assignment. Competence development occurs continuously throughout the assignment. It is desirable that you are a non-smoker and share the employer's Christian worldview. A requirement is that you have a valid driver's license.

About the employment

The position is a substitute role based on need. Working hours vary between days, nights, evenings, and weekends. We offer a fixed-term employment "for the duration of the assignment" as well as hourly employment. We offer a fixed hourly wage according to agreement. Other benefits are provided according to the collective agreement.

The selection process is ongoing, and more information about the assignment can be obtained during a potential interview. Start date is by agreement. To be employed by Novum Assistans, you must have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the service.
