Novum is a nationwide personal assistance provider operating on a Christian value base, with the ambition to make a difference for the individual, the industry, and society.

We are currently looking for a personal assistant for night shifts on a part-time position of 50–60%. Initially, you will work day and evening shifts to get to know the boy you will be assisting. To thrive in this role, you must be flexible, able to step in when needed, and swap shifts when colleagues have unforeseen circumstances.

We are looking for someone who is caring and has a personality suited for this assignment. As a person, you are responsible, meticulous, attentive, and accustomed to taking initiative. Previous experience as a personal assistant is an advantage. You must have full proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. Being a non-smoker is a requirement. We also appreciate if you are physically fit, cheerful, positive, and have a good sense of humor.

We offer a rewarding and developmental job working with a cheerful 11-year-old boy who lives with his mother, father, younger brother, and younger sister in a house in Örebro. The boy has significant care needs in all daily activities, ranging from communication and feeding to training. He is very social and enjoys singing, playing, reading, and being playful. He has epilepsy, requires PEG feeding, and uses a wheelchair. During the day, the boy attends school.

It is an advantage if you enjoy working in a structured manner, are energetic, proactive, and creative. The most important thing is that you and the employer get along well and that you are willing to learn the routines established at the workplace. We hope you will stay in the assignment for a long time, as continuity and attachment are crucial for the boy.

Regular workplace meetings are held to ensure the development of the assignment. As an assistance company, we create the conditions for the tasks required by the assistance through ongoing competence development based on the needs of the assignment. This gives you the opportunity for personal development both as an individual and in your professional role as a personal assistant.

We offer fixed-term employment "for the duration of the assignment" as well as hourly employment. We offer a fixed hourly wage according to agreement, along with other benefits according to the collective agreement. The selection process is ongoing, and more information will be provided during an interview. Start date is by agreement. Employment with Novum Assistans requires that you have BankID and agree to use it in your role.
